Common questions

• Do I need to create an account? No — Le Fêtard works immediately, with no sign-up, email, or password. Your identity is a random animal + color you can change anytime in Settings.
• How do I delete my account or data? Settings → Delete account. This immediately removes your profile, posts, comments, and messages. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• I made a purchase but didn't get what I paid for. Email us with your purchase date and product name (from your App Store/Play Store receipt) and we'll investigate right away.
• How do I report a post, comment, or message? Tap the report/block control directly on the content in question — every pin, comment, and message can be reported from inside the app.
• How do I report a safety concern involving a child? See our Child Safety Standards page.

Privacy Policy

Le Fêtard is an anonymous, hyper-local neighborhood notification app. We collect the minimum needed to run the service and keep it safe.

What we collect

• Anonymous device identifier — derived from the device (e.g. Android ID) — used as your account id. No name, email or phone number is required to use the app.
• Location (approximate and precise) — only while you use the map / create a post, to show nearby notifications and enforce distance rules. Your last known location may be stored.
• Content you create — pins (title, category, location, optional description) and comments.
• Device & usage data — device brand/model, OS/app version, IP address, and session/login times, used for security, anti-abuse and analytics.
• Push notification token — if you enable notifications.
• Purchases — via Google Play; product identifier and purchase status. Payment details are handled entirely by Google, we never see your card information.

Why we process this data

To provide the service, to keep it safe from spam/abuse (legitimate interest), to comply with legal obligations, and — for optional features like push notifications — your consent.

Sharing

We use Supabase (database/hosting), Google (Play Billing, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push) and OpenStreetMap (map tiles) as processors. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Retention

Pins are shown as active for 24 hours, after which they are no longer surfaced in the normal feed. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account — this immediately removes your live profile, posts, comments, and messages from the app and from other users' view. For anti-abuse and audit purposes (e.g. detecting repeat ban evasion), we retain a permanent, admin-only archive containing your device/IP metadata and a snapshot of your deleted posts and comments; this archive is never shown to other users, is not used for any other purpose, and is not linked back to you unless you are re-identified through abuse-investigation processes.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your data. Contact hamitcibo4@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in France: the CNIL).

Children

Le Fêtard is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; for material changes we will notify you in-app.

The service

Le Fêtard lets you post and view anonymous, location-based neighborhood notifications. It is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee the accuracy of user-generated content.

Your account

You are anonymous (device-based, no sign-up required). You are responsible for what you post.

Community rules

• Report real situations only.
• Never share personal information or identify individuals or public officials.
• No harassment, hate speech, spam, illegal content, or impersonation.
• The Problems/Security category is limited to the provided situation types.

Violations may lead to content removal, a device ban, or account termination.

Content

You keep ownership of your content but grant us a license to display it within the service. We may remove or hide content following reports or at our discretion to keep the community safe.

Premium / purchases

Optional premium features are sold via Google Play and are subject to Google Play's own terms. Consumable quotas are non-refundable once used.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-generated content or for indirect damages arising from use of the app.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence (including Türkiye, under KVKK — see the Turkish notice on this page). Contact: hamitcibo4@gmail.com.

Child Safety Standards

Le Fêtard has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form — this includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, or any content or behavior that sexualizes or endangers a minor. This applies to every part of the app: pins, comments, direct messages, profiles, and board listings.

What we prohibit

• Any content depicting, describing, or linking to CSAM.
• Any attempt to solicit, groom, or sexually exploit a minor.
• Any content sexualizing a minor, even in a stylized or implied form.
• Using the app to arrange, advertise, or facilitate any of the above.

How to report

Every pin, comment, and message in the app can be reported and its author blocked directly from the app (tap the report/block controls on the content in question). Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. You can also report a concern directly to hamitcibo4@gmail.com — please include as much detail as you can (what you saw, when, and any identifying information visible in the app).

What happens after a report

Reported content is reviewed and, where it violates this policy, removed immediately and the responsible device is permanently banned from the app. Where we identify apparent CSAM or an attempt to exploit a minor, we preserve the relevant evidence and report it to the appropriate authority — for CSAM this means the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) and/or the relevant national law enforcement body — and we cooperate with any resulting law-enforcement investigation to the extent required by law.

Hizmetin sunulması, güvenlik ve kötüye kullanım önleme (meşru menfaat), hukuki yükümlülüklerin yerine getirilmesi ve isteğe bağlı özellikler (örn. bildirimler) için açık rızanız.

Aktarım

Verileriniz; Supabase (barındırma/veritabanı), Google (Play Billing, Firebase Cloud Messaging) ve OpenStreetMap (harita altyapısı) hizmet sağlayıcılarıyla, yalnızca hizmetin çalışması için gerekli ölçüde paylaşılır. Verileriniz hiçbir şekilde satılmaz. Yurt dışına aktarım KVKK md. 9 kapsamında yürütülür.

Saklama süresi

Bildirimler paylaşıldıktan 24 saat sonra normal akıştan kalkar. Ayarlar → Hesabı sil yoluyla hesabınızı istediğiniz zaman silebilirsiniz — bu, canlı profilinizi, paylaşımlarınızı, yorumlarınızı ve mesajlarınızı uygulamadan ve diğer kullanıcıların görüşünden anında kaldırır. Kötüye kullanımı önleme ve denetim amacıyla (ör. tekrarlayan ban ihlallerini tespit etmek), cihaz/IP bilgilerinizi ve silinen paylaşım/yorumlarınızın bir kopyasını içeren, yalnızca yöneticilerin erişebildiği kalıcı bir arşiv kaydı tutulur; bu arşiv başka kullanıcılara asla gösterilmez, başka hiçbir amaçla kullanılmaz ve kötüye kullanım soruşturması dışında kimliğinizle ilişkilendirilmez.

Le Fêtard, 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bu kullanıcılardan bilerek veri toplanmaz.
